The exit strategy that I intend to take for my business is to sell it in the next five years for a large return. I decided to take this exit strategy so that I can create other ventures through out my life and then make more. I think this would be the strategy I will take for most of my ventures, since I believe it is the plan that will make the most money of all, unless the venture becomes extremely successful. I think that my decision on my exit strategy hasn't influenced my other decisions that I have made for my concept. I think this to be true since I never really thought of an exit strategy until this very moment, so the decisions I previously made wouldn't be affected by the decision I made today. Although I can't say that my decision on the exit strategy I made today will not have influence on future decisions that I make for my concept, or any future changes.
Hello Christian,
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting how all the posts on exit strategy, including yours have mentioned that their exit strategy is to sell after 5 years. I'm not sure why this is, maybe because none of us have enough faith in our business ventures to feel secure for lifetime owning it, or maybe me foresee the attrition rate in the near future, but i too think that this is the best exit strategy. I also very much agree that the decision of this particular exit strategy will have an influence on future decisions that we all make for our concept and other future changes. Hey Christian,
ReplyDeleteI too decided that my current business venture won't be my last. I feel the same way is there is more for me to create and do. So with the money for the sale I will invest it in other business ventures.
Overall keep you the great work and good luck. Oh yeah, feel free to leave some feedback on my post.
