Short Description:
The opportunity that I saw was that people who like to use boards for transportation get annoyed to have to carry their in their hands when they are not using it. My solution to this opportunity was to make straps that connect with your backpack that will hold your board. You can use this straps on any backpack to hold any board. My business name is BoardStrap.
Awesome work Christian!
ReplyDeleteI see that this is definitely an opportunity for the entire "board community" and I think your invention would be much appreciated.
How would you plan to obtain patents for your invention? Is there already any competition within the market that might interfere with your business sales? How would you go about the creation and manufacturing of this invention? How would you market this invention and, lastly, through what kinds of stores would you retail your product?
Great presentation, although you did make me a little dizzy with all your moving around. Lol
Keep up the good work!

Hey man hope you're doing well!
ReplyDeleteI thought you did a good job with this short pitch. You clearly identified the problem, who had the problem, and what you propose to solve it. There are actually backpacks already that have straps for skateboards, but I think you have a better product if you were able to make it a customizable and easily attachable accessory like you mentioned. Have you considered the designs and functionality needed for different size boards?
Good job and keep working on your presentation!

I really liked your business venture idea, Christian. It is so useful to have a mode of transportation that is not a hassle to carry around everywhere, and I think your idea easily solves that conflict. The title you chose for your opportunity was also very good and was perfect to describe the concept. Here is my link:http://minaaomar.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-1.html
ReplyDeleteI don't use a board, but I could see how something like this would be very beneficial. The thought recently came to me how annoying it must be for skateboarders to use them as transportation since they have to carry them - your idea to connect it to a backpack seems like it would be a welcomed product so they can avoid the frustration.
